The organisers of the Future Assembly tech conference commissioned Fold Theory to design exhibitor booths and a stage backdrop for their inaugural trade show. The cost-effective design was achieved by mass producing only two triangular modules, one large and one small equilateral triangle, joined together with re-usable foldback clips from a stationery supply store. The booth furniture was modular, so could expand or contract depending on the needs of the exhibitor, whilst maintaining a consistent look and feel. Visual consistency was important across a very large space that was split over two levels.
